The Alpe Adria trail from Cormons to Šmartno

Starting from Cormons we will get to know the hilly area behind Cormons already in Slovenian territory. It has always been a borderland and small towns still retain evidence of the past, when they were a borderland between Venice and the Hapsburg Empire. We will walk along the path by vineyards, throw a small forest area on the Italian side and partly on the asphalt road part till Medana. From there we will continue to Kozana, where we will stop for a moment for the break. From there only the last climb to get to Smartno, the most characteristic village of Brda.

Meal: typical restaurant in Šmartno, prices from 15 to 25 euro. Local wine and very tasteful homemade jam.
