Art: a visit to the Revoltella Museum, which houses the most important collection of modern fine arts. It is located in a charming palace owned by Baron Pasquale Revoltella, one of the most influential businessmen of the 19th century. He also contributed to the construction of the Suez Canal and his circle was an important meeting point for merchants, politicians and artists.

Palaces: a tour of Miramare Castle, built between 1855 and 1860 by Archduke Maximilian of Habsburg for himself and his wife. It is surrounded by a large park with various trees and plants, and the interior is elegant and sophisticated. The palace is the work of the Viennese architect Karl Junker and is reminiscent of ancient English castles, but built of white embankment stone, it gives it an elegant appearance.
